Frequently Asked Questions
What is CBD?
CBD – Short for Cannabidiol which is one of many compounds found in the cannabis plant. These are known collectively as cannabinoids. CBD is the most abundant and widely studied non-psychoactive compound found in cannabis.
What are the benefits of CBD?
One of the most celebrated health benefits of CBD is its pain relieving effects. CBD interacts with receptors in the brain and immune system to reduce inflammation and alleviate pain. Additionally, CBD has anti-seizure properties, combats anxiety, fights certain types of cancers, may reduce the risk of diabetes, and possesses many more proven health benefits.
Isolate vs. Full Spectrum CBD
As one of many compounds found in cannabis, CBD isn’t the only beneficial one. Unlike an “isolate” oil (which is pure CBD by itself), a full spectrum oil includes a wide range of cannabinoids from the hemp plant. These cannabinoid compounds have been shown to work together in helping relieve or manage more ailments than an isolate oil. This is known colloquially as the Entourage Effect. Visit our partner site CBD55.com for a range of products and information regarding CBD Oil.
Will CBD get you high?
NO! CBD is derived from Hemp. Hemp and Marijuana are from the same family, but they are different plants. All hemp products sold in the U.S. must contain less than .3% THC per volume.
